NORTHPORT VILLAGE ARTS BUILDING: FURNITURE and SCULPTURE
Featuring many makers from Northern Michigan: Terroir Wood Studios of Boyne City are makers of fine wood furniture using native woods with just a hint of rustic flavor; Fred Rehak uniquely repurposes industrial machinery as beautiful, functional home decor; sculptor Dewey Blocksma enters a sculptural object with a functional use; Sleeping Bear Twig Furniture will present willow and applied birch bark pieces intrinsic to the rustic style of the upper Great Lakes; and Leland’s Jason Rollings will be there with furniture made from salvaged materials, work which often elicits those “wow, I never imagined using that that way” comments. All furniture makers are able to customize pieces to fit your specifications.

OLD ART BUILDING: FIBER FESTIVAL
An exhibition and sale of original fiber art including wearable art, textiles, weaving, art quilts, fiber sculpture, knits and yarns.
